OUR CHURCH - OUR MISSION

The most important mission we have here at Parkwood Baptist Church is to tell others about Jesus Christ.  We are called to spread the Gospel of Christ at home, work, our community and through out the world.  Whether you are tired, weak, weary, happy, content or sad, we all need Jesus!  Take a moment and ask yourself, "Do I know Jesus?  Have I given myself to Him?"  If the answer is no, then here is how to know Him!

Do you know that you have sinned?  "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God..." Romans 3:23  There is a penalty for sin:  "For the wages of sin is death;...."God loves you so much He offers you an alternative to death called "eternal life"..."but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."  Romans 6:23

God provided his Son, Jesus, as an atoning sacrifice for your sins.  Jesus took your penalty!  "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."  Romans 5:8

Do you wonder if God will accept you?  He gives us this answer in His Holy Word.  "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."  Romans 10:13

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:3

If you have called upon the Lord today or if you have more questions, come worship with us!  Feel free to call the church office and speak to the Pastor.  We are here to pray with you and help in any way possible!
